A clown and performance variety show series I created and produced in partnership with Silent Theatre from October 2020 to August 2021.

I’ve always had a passion for bringing people together, and I was excited to create a space where some of the finest Chicago-based performing could share their talents for a live and virtual audience during a time when most performance venues were still shut down.

I hosted as my character Baba Yana, the Soviet-Jewish grandma clown, along with her silent brother Itzik, played by Josh Levine. We performed for a combined live and virtual audience, showcasing clowns and performing artists from the Chicago area, and taking place in unconventional public spaces.
